Slimking Casino puts the safeguarding of personal information as a priority https://slimkingg.eu/fr-be/legal-and-affiliates/. Data protection is not just a legal box to tick. It shapes every interaction you have with our platform. If you are a player, a visitor, or an affiliate partner, you should know exactly how your data is collected, used, and protected. This guide explains our approach in plain language.
How We Employ Your Information
We use the personal data you provide mainly to supply and oversee your gaming account. This encompasses verifying your identity, processing payments, and ensuring that gameplay is just and aligned with our terms. Without this information, we could not legally or practically provide you a real-money gaming experience. Every use is tied directly to the service you expect from us.
Marketing communications are dispatched only when you provide clear consent. We might send promotional emails about bonuses, new games, or affiliate offers, but you remain free to opt out at any moment. We also utilize aggregated, anonymised data to analyze trends and enhance our site’s performance. No individual is identifiable in these analytics reports.
For our affiliate partners, we use the registration data and tax details to manage the programme, calculate revenue share, and dispatch payments. Referral data collected via tracking links is managed purely for commission attribution. We never use affiliates’ personal information for unrelated purposes, and we maintain a clear separation between player data and affiliate data.
Steps to Exercise Your Rights
Should you wish to exercise any data protection right, get in touch with our Data Protection Officer by email or through the dedicated form in your account settings. Please provide enough information for us to verify your identity, including your username and a recent transaction reference. This verification step prevents unauthorised access to your data and is in itself a GDPR-mandated safeguard.
We get back within one month, but complex requests may demand an extension of up to two additional months. In every case we update you informed of progress. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to submit a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority. We collaborate fully with supervisory authority investigations.
Affiliate partners take the same path. Your dedicated affiliate manager can also help if you like a guided process. We manage all rights requests with the same respect, regardless of you are a player or a business partner. Clear communication channels ensure that data protection never is a burden.
Your GDPR Rights
Under GDPR regulations you have various rights regarding your personal data. Slimking Casino ensures the exercise of these rights swiftly and without undue obstacles. We have well-defined internal processes so that any request you raise is handled within the statutory one-month period, and we will acknowledge receipt immediately.
The following list details each right and what it entails in practice. If you want to act on any of these, our support team is ready to assist you through the specific steps.
- Right of access: You may seek a copy of the personal data we keep about you, along with details about how it is being handled.
- Right to rectification: If you spot inaccurate or incomplete information, we will correct it without delay.
- Right to erasure: In particular cases you can require us to delete your data. This right is not unconditional and must be balanced against our legal obligations, such as maintaining transaction records for anti-money laundering purposes.
- Right to restrict processing: You can require us to temporarily stop processing while a concern is examined, without deleting the data entirely.
- Right to data portability: For data you gave to us and that we process by automated means, you can ask for a structured, machine-readable copy to transfer to another service.
- Right to object: You may raise an objection to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. Direct marketing objections are consistently upheld immediately.
We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Your account status and gameplay experience remain unaffected except where a specific legal restriction obliges us to limit processing, such as when identity verification cannot be finished.
Data Retention and Security
We store your personal data only as long as necessary. Account data continues to be active for the duration of your membership. If you close your account, we hold essential information for a statutory period, usually five to ten years depending on financial and anti-money laundering requirements. After that period, we irreversibly de-identify or delete the records.
Security measures are multi-layered to protect your information from accidental loss, alteration, or unauthorised access. We use encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, regular penetration testing, and employee training programmes. Our servers are located in secure data centres within the European Economic Area, ensuring your data remains under GDPR protection at all times.
We also have a specialised incident response plan. Should a data breach occur despite our defences, we will notify the Belgian Data Protection Authority and, where required, affected users without undue delay. Transparency in such events is a central part of our commitment to your security.
Understanding Data Protection in Belgium
Belgium complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which establishes a high privacy standard across the European Union. The Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA) enforces these rules and provides guidance. Slimking Casino welcomes Belgian users and respects both the GDPR and any applicable local legislation. Our policies show a commitment to transparency and accountability.
The GDPR places strict obligations on organisations that handle personal data. Personal data covers any information that can identify you, directly or indirectly, including a name, an email address, an IP address, or payment details. We manage all such information with close attention, and our internal processes are designed to keep that data secure and used only for legitimate purposes.
Because our platform also runs an affiliate programme, we process data from two main groups: end users and affiliate partners. The same legal principles apply to both, but the types of data and the legal bases differ slightly. Understanding this distinction helps you see why certain information is requested and how it stays protected throughout the relationship.
Affiliate Programme Data Handling
When you sign up for the Slimking Casino affiliate programme, we gather your contact details, payment information, and tax identification numbers. This data is necessary for contract fulfilment and legal reporting. We keep it securely and restrict access to employees who handle the affiliate platform directly. No casual browsing or unauthorised access is possible.
Tracking is carried out via first-party cookies and server-side attribution. When a user activates your unique link, a temporary identifier is stored. That identifier allows us to connect any subsequent registration with your account. The cookie does not hold personal player details. If the user removes cookies, we still try server-side matching to respect your referrals accurately.
Affiliate reporting dashboards present aggregated statistics such as clicks, impressions, registrations, and net revenue. You never access a player’s name, email, or payment data. This aggregated approach protects player privacy while providing you meaningful performance insight. We also anonymise data used for overall programme analysis to ensure compliance with the privacy-by-design principle.
We keep affiliate data for the duration of your partnership plus a legally mandated period after termination. Financial records related to commissions are stored as long as tax authorities demand. Once retention periods lapse, we securely delete or anonymise your data. Our affiliate contract explicitly addresses these timelines so you always understand what to expect.
Cookie and Data Collection Technologies
Our website utilizes cookies to improve functionality and to analyze how visitors interact with our pages. Required cookies power core features such as protected login, session management, and the affiliate tracking system. These cookies are activated automatically because without them the platform cannot operate correctly. They do not hold personal data beyond what is technically necessary.
Analysis and marketing cookies require your consent. When you first arrive, a cookie banner describes the categories and enables you choose. You can adjust preferences at any time through our privacy dashboard. For affiliate tracking, the consent mechanism follows ePrivacy regulations alongside the GDPR, guaranteeing that referral links work only when lawful consent exists.
Belgian users have the same cookie transparency. We comply with the additional guidance issued by the APD on cookie walls and free consent. Refusing non-essential cookies has no negative impact on your gaming experience, and you will never be forced to accept marketing cookies to access the platform.
Data Disclosure and Outside Entities
We share data only with vetted partners who require it to assist in operating our platform. Payment processors receive transaction details to process deposits and withdrawals. Identity verification services examine your documents solely for KYC checks. All third parties are evaluated, bound by contract, and required to meet GDPR standards comparable with our own.
Regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies might demand data in particular situations. We reveal information only when legally mandated and under strict protocols. In such cases, we confine disclosures to exactly what the law requires. We also retain logs of any such disclosure for your clarity and our responsibility.
Affiliate partners do not receive personally identifiable player data. We use anonymised performance reports so you know how your referrals perform. The only data an affiliate receives about a referred player is a masked identifier enough for commission calculation. End-user privacy remains intact throughout the referral relationship.
What Data Slimking Casino Collects
When you register an account, we obtain basic identity information including your full name, date of birth, residential address, and email address. We also request a phone number as a secondary contact method. This data is necessary to create a secure account and to comply with our Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations under anti-money laundering regulations.
Financial information forms another category. We store payment method details, transaction amounts, and billing addresses. This data allows us process deposits and withdrawals without unnecessary friction. We never keep full payment card numbers on our own servers; those sensitive details are processed exclusively by PCI-compliant payment service providers operating under strict security protocols.
Technical data is collected automatically when you navigate our website. This includes your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and information about how you engage with our pages. Affiliate partners additionally transmit tracking data through unique referral links, which lets us attribute traffic and calculate commission accurately without exposing personal player details.
Legal Grounds for Processing
Every processing activity at Slimking Casino relies on a valid legal basis under the GDPR. We never process your data without justification. The basis we depend on depends on the specific purpose. Below we present the main grounds we use and an example of each to make the framework concrete.
- Contractual necessity: We process registration details and financial data because it is essential to perform the contract you enter into when you open an account. Without this processing, we are unable to provide the service.
- Legal obligation: As a licensed operator, we must comply with anti-money laundering laws and gambling regulations. Identity verification documents and transaction records fall under this obligation.
- Legitimate interest: We may process limited technical data to prevent fraud, secure our network, and improve user experience. We always consider these interests against your rights and do not use this basis for intrusive practices.
- Consent: Marketing newsletters and certain non-essential cookies depend on your explicit consent. You provide this consent freely and may withdraw it at any time without influencing your core account.
Affiliate processing also uses these bases. The affiliate agreement represents a contract, so sharing commission statements and tax forms is contractually necessary. If we deliver optional training materials or news updates, we ask for separate consent.
